Michelle Rodriguez is coming to Liam Neeson’s defense after the actor made some racially charged comments.
Ever since an interview was published where Liam Neeson admitted to wanting to kill any black man to get revenge for a friend that got raped, the iron has been hot. Fans have been for or against the actor’s standpoint and now Michelle Rodriguez is weighing in. In an interview at the amfAR Gala Wednesday night, the “Widows” actress said she thinks the backlash is “all fu*kin’ bulls*it”.
“It’s all fuckin’ bullshit. Liam Neeson is not a racist,” said Rodriguez at the amfAR Gala New York on Wednesday night. “Dude, have you watched “Widows”? His tongue was so far down Viola Davis’s throat. You can’t call him a racist ever. Racists don’t make out with the race that they hate, especially in the way he does with his tongue—so deep down her throat. I don’t care how good of an actor you are. It’s all bullshit. Ignore it. He’s not a racist. He’s a loving man. It’s all lies.”
Meanwhile, Twitter caught hold of her comments and seems to not be a fan of Michelle inserting her opinion. Check out some of the tweets below:
Michelle Rodriguez is the Gina Rodriguez of the 00’s like this isn’t the first time she’s said something insanely stupid and tone deaf. But here we are. Again. pic.twitter.com/bISorGbYMC

Not being funny but Michelle Rodriguez isn’t Black nor did the racist remarks apply to her so as a POC She needs to stay in her lane. I hate it when other demographics try to speak on behalf of Black People like it’s them Liam Neeson was talking about. https://t.co/oIALZZTj1M

Someone please tell Michelle Rodriguez that slave owners routinely raped Black women. That didn’t absolve them from being racists. Her defense of Liam Neeson is insulting.

Her litmus test for racism is a person's ability to kiss a BW, vs their confession to wanting to randomly kill an innocent Black person. Notedhttps://t.co/C1BHEJvTW1
