Miley Cyrus Promises To Care For Janice Freeman’s Daughter After ‘The Voice’ Singer Dies

Voice” judge Miley Cyrus was completely heartbroken to learn that the former contestant and her good friend sadly passed away. On Monday, Miley was able to gather her words and share a few tributes to Freeman. In one of them, she made a promise to take care of her family.

“To hug you one more time @janicefreeman… I made a promise to you here on earth and will keep that promise as you watch from heaven. To take care of your precious little girl, my baby sister. To shine a light on your husband and mother when days are dark! I love you.”

Cyrus and Freeman’s bond grew stronger after the show. Not only did the actor/singer stay in contact with her, she even stepped in to help Freeman and her family who were in need of a home. Back in January, Freeman revealed that Cyrus, “Found us placement until we found permanent housing, gave me the deposit, covered me for 6 months so I can get on my feet!” The late-singer said Cyrus was “one of my closest friends,” after the time they spent together on “The Voice,” The Blast quotes.

Although Freeman is no longer here, Cyrus says that she can still “feel” her spirt. Freeman will be greatly missed.
