A missing Clark Atlanta student was found at a park in Dekalb County after her roommate and her roommate’s boyfriend confessed to her murder.
According to 11Alive, Alexis Crawford,21, was reported missing last week after she filed a police report against her roommate’s boyfriend, Barron Brantley after she rejected unwanted sexual advances from Brantley when he tried to kiss and touch her. Crawford filed the report on Oct.27 and went missing on Oct. 30. Atlanta Police Chief Ericka Sheilds said in a statement that arrest warrants are pending for Brantley and Crawford’s roommate, Jordyn Jones, both aged 21.
“Today, Alexis’ body was found in a park in DeKalb County off of Columbia Drive Our investigators were led to the location by one of the suspects. As a result, our investigators are working on securing arrest warrants for two individuals: Jordyn Jones, who is a female, age 21, and Baron Brantley, who is a male, age 21. Jordyn had been Alexis’ friend and her roommate.”

Crawford’s mother, Tammy, said she last spoke to her daughter on Oct.30 and that her daughter appeared to be in “good spirits.” Jones told police that she took Crawford to the store around 11:30 p.m. and returned to their home. She last saw Crawford around 12:30 a.m and didn’t see her the next morning.
