A woman and her two sons were found dead inside of their home on Staten Island and the woman’s husband is currently in police custody.
The New York Post reports the unidentified 37-year-old woman and her two sons, aged 2 and 3, were found before 10:45 a.m. lying face down in a bed. Police reported that the children were drowned in a bathtub and there were no clear details on how their mother died. Their bodies were discovered after one of the woman’s coworkers saw a small fire coming from their two-story home on Palisade Street and contacted 911.
Multiple witnesses stated they saw the woman’s husband standing on the Brooklyn side of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and pulled him off then called 911 shortly after 7:45 a.m.

He was taken into the Maimonides Medical Center for an evaluation then place in police custody as a person of interest. A source reported they are not looking for any more suspects.
The couple was a part of the Air Force but no further details were revealed.
