Multiple People Injured In Southern California High School Shooting
According to the NBC breaking report, another school shooting has taken place. This time at high school in Southern California.
As of right now, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have only shared that multiple people have been injured and that said the suspected gunman, an Asian male wearing black clothing who was last seen at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, is still at large.
“This is an active shooter situation,” said a tweet from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Office. “If you live in neighborhoods anywhere near Saugus High, PLEASE LOCK DOORS and stay inside. If you see suspect, male dark clothing, in backyards, etc. CALL 911”
However, a man people on social media have pointed out that the latest update on their Citzen is saying the suspect has been caught.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department has not confirmed that as of yet.
Reporters are also saying that a total of 7 people have been injured. But, police spokesman Christopher Thomas said it was not clear if the victims suffered gunshot wounds or other injuries.
The school, with an enrollment of about 2,500 students in grades 9-12, was placed on a lock down along with all schools in the William S. Hart district.
“There is an incident at Saugus High School,” the district tweeted. “As a precaution we are placing all schools on lockdown until law enforcement advises otherwise.”
