NBA Youngboy Arrested For Violating Probation Following Miami Shooting
Following the shooting in Miami that involved rapper NBA Youngboy, police have arrested him for violating his probation.
TMZ reports that police sources state that the rapper was taken into custody after a hearing in East Baton Rouge on Friday. He is expected to be detained for at least 30 days.
District Judge Bonnie Jackson ruled that his involvement in the Miami shooting last weekend, where one man died and the Instagram post he made about it, constituted a probation violation, despite the fact that he was the victim, not the shooter.
As we reported, NBA was involved in a shooting in Miami on Mother’s Day. The judge believes that his post where he threatens to retaliate against those who shot him violated his probation. The probation stems from an August 2017 assault with a firearm charge where he was put on probation for 3 years after receiving a suspended 10-year prison term. One of the conditions of his freedom was that he needs to stay off of social media.
