A Staten Island woman whose body was burned beyond recognition, was killed by her estranged husband and his girlfriend. The couple was arrested a day after her body was found inside of a storage facility.
According to the New York Post, Jeanine Cammarata,37, was reported missing since Saturday after her family began to receive a series of strange text messages. Sadly, her body was found inside of a storage facility Thursday afternoon and was burned beyond recognition which prompted NYPD officers to use dental records prove that it was her. Police arrested her husband, 42-year-old Michael Cammarata and his girlfriend, Ayisha Egea,41. The couple murdered the beloved schoolteacher and mother of three inside of Michael’s Rockaway Beach home.
Police also reported that Jeanine and Michael had a long history of domestic violence and Michael was previously held on charges of assaulting, stalking, and harassing his soon-to-be ex-wife.
