In collaboration with the NBA, Nike has released their new Earned Edition uniforms which pay homage to the teams 2017-2018 playoff season.
The NBA continues to please their fans with of course amazing games, but also with some pretty awesome merch.
In a recent release with Nike, the franchise created a new look to a few teams uniforms which represent their hard work and dedication.
Called the “Earner Edition” These uniforms are made to award the 16 teams that made it to the playoffs in the 2017-2018 season.
Not only are these jerseys super awesome and different for the NBA, but there are some pretty special honors on two of them.
The Minnesota Timberwolves jersey is in honor of the late great Prince and his “Purple Rain album.” It details the musician’s tour outfits and his Paisley Park home and studio. As for the actual “Wolves” text, it is in the font that was used on the “Purple Rain” album and movie artwork.
Another honor went out to the late great rapper Notorious B.I.G. on the Brooklyn Nets uniform. This jersey featured the COOGI sweater-inspired detailing around the edges.
It’s being said that a number of teams plan on wearing these jerseys on Christmas day while others will wear them sometime after.
As for the fans, you can get your hands on this limited edition and quantity uniforms on December 19th.
