You’re never too cool to wear a sandal which is why Nike made their classic Air Force 1 into a slingback.
One of Nike’s most classic sneaker, the Air Force 1 just got a new facelift. Or should we say face down as they remove the back of the show to make a slingback look.
Nike took their classic silhouette of the Forces and replaces the back of the shoe with an elastic strap which would embody something you would see on a sandal.
This shoe could be giving the crocs a run for their money. While most people would never slide their foot into that comfortable rubber sandal, there’s something about a sneaker that makes things better.
The Air Force 1 VTF comes in a sleek black colorway with gold and metallic details around the logo, branding, and sole.
The material keeps its OG form as it features smooth leather along the upper and retains the design of its original ’82 sole unit with cushioning Air-Sole technology.
Coming in Big Kid’s sizing, this sneaker retails for $90 and is currently available for purchase.
