Nipsey Hussle’s Baby Mama Claims Rapper’s Sister Took Their Daughter After His Death
As we previously reported, Nipsey Hussle‘s baby mother Tanisha Foster is fighting to regain custody of her 10-year-old daughter Emani Asghedom.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Tanisha claims Nipsey’s sister Samantha Smith took custody of the girl after he was killed and has refused to return her. Tanisha is objecting to the filing by Samantha, who asked the court to be named guardian after Nipsey died.
She argued that she is Emani Asghedom’s mother and believes the “Law and Policy of this state favors the protection of the rights of natural parents and their children. Objector has statutory priority over petitioner,” The Blast quotes.
She went on to say that Samantha, “unlawfully took the minor and as of this date, despite objectors demand, refused to return the minor to Objector.”
Despite Nipsey’s family claiming Tanisha is currently unfit to properly raise Emani, Tanisha strongly believes that “the best interests” of Emani are not being served by
“refusing contact between minor and mother.”
Samantha wants Smith’s petition to be denied, but a judge has not ruled yet. We will continue to keep you updated on when more details have been shared.
