The grand jury proceedings have begun for Eric Holder, the man charged with shooting and killing legendary LA rapper, Nipsey Hussle!
Eric Holder is currently on trial for the death of well-loved rapper Nipsey Hussle, and shocking details are being revealed.
The Los Angeles Times was able to obtain grand jury transcripts which detailed the final exchange between Holder and Nipsey.
The “Victory Lap” rapper was having a conversation when Holder approached him and shot him at least 10 times before kicking him in the head. The transcripts say that Nip looked at Holder and said,
“You got me.”
During the opening statements, Deputy District Attorney John McKinney said that the altercation began when Holder approached Nipsey and had a conversation about being a snitch.
“Apparently, the conversation had something to do with [Hussle] telling Mr. Holder that word on the street was that Mr. Holder was snitching,” McKinney said in his statement. “The conversation wasn’t particularly intense. It wasn’t particularly belligerent.”
McKinney went on to explain that Holder could be heard asking Hussle,
“So you’ve never snitched?” or “Haven’t you snitched?”
Whatever the response was from Nipsey, it prompted holder to return to his car where his girlfriend was waiting. He allegedly told her to drive around the block while he loaded his gun.
When Holder got back in the car, his girlfriend asked what happened, but claimed that he threatened to slap her if she didn’t just drive, the D.A. told the grand jury.
The woman who has been offered protective custody is being referred to as Woman 1 and is a key role in the case. She has been granted immunity for agreeing to testify.
