NYPD Cop Arrested For Punching Aunt During Thanksgiving Brawl

An NYPD traffic cop was arrested for allegedly punching her aunt in the face during a Thanksgiving gathering in the Bronx.

The NY Post reports that Jazmine Knowles, 28, has been charged with assault for engaging in a violent brawl at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday with her aunt.

Apparently, an argument escalated into a brawl after her aunt accused her of hitting her son. However, Police found no evidence of assault on the boy.

“Shut the f–k up,” Knowles reportedly screamed back at her aunt before going in and punching her.

Knowles was arrested following the fight, but, her aunt refused medical attention.

According to reports, Knowles makes $38,625 a year working for as an NYPD traffic officer. It is not clear if she was suspended from her position following her arrest.
