An Oklahoma couple was arrested Thursday after their three-year-old daughter died due to having a 17-pound cancerous tumor.
Police arrested 42-year-old Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly and Henry Clarence Lilly of Lawton earlier this week on manslaughter charges. Authorities arrived moments after receiving a call about a toddler being unresponsive inside of a trailer home near Lake Lawtonka on Oklahoma State Highway 58. The three-year-old girl was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
A medical examiner’s report concluded that the girl had cancer and suffered with a 17-pound tumor. There were no reports of how long she had the tumor or where the tumor was located on her body. The couple’s bond was posted at 60,000 each but they were later released but were required to wear a court-ordered GPS monitor.
