A British photographer who became infamous for abusing over 200 children in countries such as Malaysia, India, and Cambodia was stabbed to death in his prison cell.
The BBC reports Richard Huckle,33, was found stabbed to death in his prison cell at Full Sutton Prison on Sunday. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death after discovering his body around 12:30 and say he may have been attacked before being stabbed with a makeshift knife. Huckle was given 22 life sentences in 2016 after he confessed to sexually abusing multiple children aged between six months and 12 years old from 2006 to 2014.
Investigators discovered in more than 20,000 photos and videos of Huckle sexually abusing the victims on his computer. He also shared the disturbing content on various pedophile forums on the dark web and bragged about his encounters.
“Impoverished kids are definitely much easier to seduce than middle-class Western kids.”
