Petitioners Demand Streaming Platform Remove Post-Hurricane Doc For False Claims
Netflix is under major heat after petitioners emerge demanding they remove their recently-released post-hurricane documentary ‘After Maria‘ for false claims and accusations.
Additionally, those against the short film state that its contents are “disrespectful and are not in tune with plight of those still in Puerto Rico suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria,” per NBC.
Furthermore, the documentary follows the stories of three Puerto Rican women who were forced from their island after the horrendous hurricane; and the challenges they face with homelessness in New York, this after their temporary FEMA housing expired.
Also, another petition can be found at Remove ‘AfterMaria’ from Netflix streaming platform.
