As if R. Kelly needed any more police attention directed his way, someone thought it would be funny to send authorities to his home after false threats.
On Tuesday afternoon, police got a call directed at the Chicago home of singer R. Kelly all to find out it was a false alarm.
According to TMZ, the call mentioned that there would be a mass suicide at Trump Towers. The caller claimed that Azriel Clary, one of Kelly’s girlfriends, and five other women were alleged victims of a suicide pact that would be carried out.
However, sources close to the singer say that police who arrived on scene went into Kelly’s home, spoke to his attornies and left after assuring everything was fine. R. Kelly had been meeting with his attorneys in his pad for at least two hours before cops showed up.
This comes after Kelly was released from jail twice. One time for the allegations of sexual acts on a minor and the second time for not paying child support.
It is unclear when the next court case will be for Kelly, but as soon as we get more information we will keep you updated!
