Postmates Driver Says She’s Not A Thief And Is Now Living In Fear After Lizzo Incident

As we previously reported, Lizzo took to social media to call out a Postmates driver who allegedly took off with her food! She tweeted out, “Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don’t fight no more,” she wrote.

The star found herself in the midst of a controversy for her tweet and later followed up with an apology. “I apologize for putting that girl on blast,” she tweeted. “I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could’ve put her in danger. Imma really is more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door.”

However, the driver recently spoke to TMZ to share how she feels about it all and apparently she’s not doing good. Tiffany says her days since then have been the worst of her life. She feels humiliated, terrified and says her world has been turned upside down. Tiffany also reportedly claims she’s afraid to leave her home and even go to work, for fear someone might harm her or even worse.

The Postmates worker also explained that she went above and beyond to get Lizzo’s meal to her but was unsuccessful. Lizzo’s order was supposed to go to a Boston hotel, but there was no room number listed and no one answered the phone linked to the account. Tiffany hit up the hotel concierge and then went into the lobby and continued to try to contact the customer but heard nothing back. Tiffany ended up waiting for a total of 10 minutes and finally left.

Not only did Postmates apologize to Lizzo but they also backed Tiffany for trying to deliver the food and for staying past the 5 mins drivers are requested to stay until the customer comes to down to grab their meal.

“As soon as Lizzo reached out, we looked into the matter and quickly resolved the issue. We apologize to Lizzo for any inconvenience.”

Lizzo’s has since deleted her original tweet putting Tiffany on blast.
