Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still settling in as a hot couple who has to follow royal protocol, but it’s pretty hard.
Since their marriage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in the public eye. Sometimes showing major PDA and others they are not.
Just a few days ago, a video surfaced of Meghan reaching for Harry’s hand and instead of grabbing her hand he discreetly clasped his hands together.
While that may seem like he’s not wanting to hold her hand, that’s far from the case.
Harry happens to know the PDA rule when it comes to outings with his grandmother the Queen. PDA must cease, according to royal etiquette expert Myka Meier. The founder and director of Beaumont Etiquette told People that it’s “rare” to see royal couples holding hands during official outings.
“While we are much less likely to see the Duke and Duchess holding hands in public, we often see Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall holding hands – it’s all simply a matter of preference for each couple and is also likely dependent on the nature of the event they are attending,” Meier said.
“A more serious engagement would warrant a more serious level of professionalism, which each royal is sure to follow.”
When looking at the royal family, it is extremely rare to see the Queen holding hands with Prince Phillip. Just as rare as it is to see Prince William holding hands or even showing any form of PDA with Princess Kate.
The good thing is we know Meghan and Harry are madly in love. Take a look at them below and let us know what you think!
