Prince Philip Makes It Out Of SUV Crash Unharmed
Queen Elizabeth‘s husband, Prince Philip, is pretty lucky as he just survived a huge SUV crash.
The 97-year-old Duke of Edinburgh was behind the wheel when the two-vehicle collision happened Thursday afternoon near the Sandringham Estate, which is the private quarters of Queen Elizabeth.
Police are said to have responded to the scene 3 PM, where they assisted two people with minor injuries. Fortunately, the Prince left unscathed!
Pictures from the scene showed a Range Rover overturned on the side of the road. The accident occurred when Philip had been pulling out of a driveway onto the main road.
“The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle this afternoon,” the palace said in a statement. “The Duke was not injured. The accident took place close to the Sandringham Estate.”
TMZ reports that Buckingham Palace said the Duke of Edinburgh was seen by a doctor as a precaution and the doctor confirmed that Philip was unharmed. Philip is the oldest ever male British Royal at 97. It looks like he is one lucky fella!
