Prosecutors report Tuesday that the autopsy report of Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney revealed she was given methamphetamine and a sedative before her death.
Yahoo News reports prosecutors said during a preliminary hearing for Patrick Stallworth,39, that he and his girlfriend, Derick Brown, 29, lured the three-year-old girl by using candy before kidnapping her from a birthday party on Oct.12. Surveillance footage from a nearby gas station showed Stallworth spending approximately $18 on candy and bought an energy drink along with a pill for sexual enhancement at another gas station hours later. Birmingham Police Detective John Ross said during his testimony that Stallworth and his girlfriend offered a pre-teen candy after her cheerleading practice before kidnapping Kamille. Another child told Ross he witnessed the couple handing out candy at the birthday party and saw Kamille crying in their SUV.
Ross added Stallworth said Brown wanted to “keep” Kamille and told him to sexually assault the toddler. The detective noted that the couple may have given Kamille meth and a sedative due to the drug levels found in her system.
