R. Kelly Airplane Banner Flies Over Sony Music HQ, “Drop The Sexual Predator”
Since Lifetime released the tell-all documentary “Surviving R Kelly,” everybody involved with the disgraced singer has faced backlash.
TMZ reports that the latest entity to be under attack is his record label Sony Music. Earlier today, a women’s rights group flew a banner over the record label’s HQ, calling the singer a “sexual predator.”
UltraViolet who is the group behind the protest, flew the banner over Sony Music HQ in Culver City reading,
“RCA/SONY: DROP SEXUAL PREDATOR R KELLY.”
UltraViolet is also responsible for starting an online petition urging that RCA and Sony drop R. Kelly from their artist roster. Well, they definitely put on an air show with that bold statement.
RCA, which is a branch under Sony has been silent throughout the accusations that were heightened by Lifetime’s docuseries. They have been Kelly’s label throughout his entire solo career.
