The assault allegedly occurred during their first encounter.
Sources close to the ongoing federal investigation into R. Kelly tell The Blast that one of the singer’s current girlfriends, Joycelyn Savage, reportedly told friends that he sexually assaulted her during their very first encounter.
While she was of age at the time, the aspiring singer allegedly confided in friends about privately meeting with the Chicago crooner; where an ex-employee, Cheryl Mack, arranged a flight to Oklahoma in 2015.
Upon her arrival, sources state that Joycelyn met Kelly in a hotel room, sang for him, and was soon told to disrobe to her underwear and walk around the room for the singer; which ended with him allegedly forcing her onto the bed and sexually assaulting her.
Additionally, the publication details that Savage told her voice coach and her son following the incident, but did not wish to go to the authorities.
Subsequent to not reporting to police, Savage’s voice coach and son told her parents, who then staged an intervention to convince her to stop interacting with the singer, but to no avail.
In addition to telling her parents, the voice coach and son recently told federal investigators and turned over evidence regarding the claim; including an audio recording of a call where Joycelyn spoke of Kelly having control over her life.
