It looks like Ray J is taking a page out of Kim Kardashian’s book by seeking Donald Trump’s help to pardon former Death Row Ceo, Suge Knight.

According to the  Daily Mail, the Love & Hip Hop star is reportedly in talks with the Trump Administration to pardon Knight from prison.

As we reported, Suge was convicted of manslaughter in 2018, and sentenced to 28 years after allegedly running over two men at a drive-thru in 2015 during the filming of “Straight Outta Compton.” Terry Carter died as a result. Suge claimed it was self-defense because he saw a gun. He was initially supposed to serve 11 years, but, his sentence was later doubled due to the three-strikes law.

Sources close to Ray J state that the singer is hoping that Trump will pardon Suge because he believes that he has learned from his mistakes and will be making a change for the better.

“Ray J is very competitive and always has been. He saw what Kim was able to do with her work in the criminal justice system with the Trump administration and he is determined to show he can do the same,” the source added. “He’s adamant that he can convince Trump to pardon Suge and that people will respect him for doing so.”

Apparently, Ray J is scheduled to meet with Trump on the road at one of his political rallies.
