Reebok is going upside down in their collaboration with LoveRenaissance and there is a really good reason why!
In the second installment of the Reebok 3AM collaboration with LVRN, things are getting flipped around as the classic logo is upside down.
According to the LVRN website, the brand is a;
“Creative agency specializing in talent management, creative direction, and production as well as marketing and strategic partnerships.”
Creative direction and strategic partnerships are definitely being shown in this collab because LVRN took a look back at some of the past brand endorsers to come up with the new concept.
“One of the most prominent figures to us growing up was Allen Iverson,”
LVRN co-founder Carlon Ramong said from the creative collective’s Atlanta headquarters.
“One thing he always did, apart from having all the sleeves and tattoos, was the headband—and he would have his headband on upside down.”
Back in 2010, the NBA ban players from wearing their headbands upside down. However, being that Iverson was one to step outside the box, it’s only right that they honor his creativity.
“Everything was always anti-establishment, anti-everything. That’s something we wanted to bring to what we were doing,” Ramong said. “We look at everything from a traditional standpoint and figure out another way to do it.”
