Remy Ma’s Assault Case Triggers Parole Violation Investigation
Remy Ma’s recent assault case could bring her previous criminal conviction back up.
TMZ reports that sources close to the case state that Remy is under investigation to determine where the incident where she allegedly punched “Love & Hip Hop New York” star Brittney Taylor is considered a parole violation.
As we reported, Remy turned herself in and was charged with misdemeanor assault. She was released after she posted bail.
The case has apparently triggered an investigation by the New York State Division of Parole. Remy has been on parole since her release from prison where she served six years for allegedly shooting her best friend for stealing from her.
If her case with Taylor is considered to have violated her parole terms, then she could be back behind bars serving additional time.
As of now, Remy has been given an 8 pm curfew by the judge and ordered to have no contact with Brittney.
Remy’s team state that Taylor’s claims are false.
