The Barbadian beauty continues to work, work, work!
Rihanna continues to build her empire and this time, she may be releasing her very own luxury and high-end fashion line! She’s reportedly in the works with LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) who will be launching their first fashion brand since Christian Lacroix in 1987.
LVMH has already selected a handful of employees from within, including some from Louis Vuitton and Celine, to work on the project with the 30-year-old and some of her main associates, sources told WWD.
Rihanna released her last album “Anti” in 2016 and fans are getting quite impatient with the singer for new music. While she may not be dedicating all of her time in the studio, she is still giving fans something to chew on until she makes her comeback. The singer released her own cosmetic line, “Fenty Beauty” in 2017 and also a lingerie brand called “Savage x Fenty”. Previously, she collaborated with Puma for “Fenty x Puma” as well.
Recently, we reported Rihanna was suing her father, Ronald Fenty, and his business partner, Moses Joktan, because they “have egregiously and fraudulently misrepresented to third parties and the public” that their company, Fenty Entertainment, LLC, is affiliated with her and can act on her behalf. She argues they tried to solicit millions from third parties for false promises that they were authorized to act on her behalf or to perform at different locations. Hopefully, this messy situation doesn’t hinder the rumored fashion line. As always, we’ll keep you updated on the details!
