Apparently, Williams damaged one of the courts with her racquet during her practice session before this year’s tournament at the All England Club. Further details weren’t shared regarding the incident. However, she was given a $10,000 fine.

Despite that, Williams, who recently featured in Forbes annual list of the “Richest Self Made Women,” received the largest fine handed out by the All England Club on Monday. Nick Kyrgios was hit with two fines, totaling $8,000, for unsportsmanlike conduct while Fabio Forgnini received a $3,000 fine for saying he wished a bomb would hit Wimbledon after his loss.

Despite that, Williams beat Carla Suarez Navarro on Monday to reach the quarter-finals. Williams and partner Andy Murray have moved to the second round of the mixed doubles and are due to meet Fabrice Martin and Raquel Atawo on Tuesday.
