Shannade Clermont Collects Letters Of Support To Avoid Prison Time
Shannade Clermont doesn’t believe she belongs in prison and is seeking the help of her friends and supporters to put a stop to her looming jail time.
The Yeezy Season 6 model is currently awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to one felony count of wire fraud.
As we reported, Clermont was indicted on fraud charges after she was hired as a prostitute for the evening and swiped a man’s credit card information for a $20,000 spending spree that included clothes and airline tickets. The man had died of an overdose, but, Clermont reportedly had nothing to do with the death.
The Blast reports that Shannade says she’s a good person who donates the clothes she receives on shoots to, “the less fortunate.”
She also notes that she just started the Clermont Foundation, which aims to raise awareness and funding for mental illness. Additionally, she claims her actions were due to “severe desperation” and she is a law-abiding citizen otherwise.
She gathered more than 20 letters of support from family and friends who can back up her claims and the goodness of her character.
