The Sheriff’s department is asking for people to stop making fun of a suspect’s mugshot.

Orlando Lopez, 43, was arrested on Friday night for drug trafficking charges. His mugshot quickly went viral and the department was not happy about it. It seems people were making fun of his head deformity.

Police report that Lopez had 98 grams of cocaine and 35 grams of methamphetamine on him. He was booked on numeros drug trafficking charges and was given $250,000 bail.

According to WSBTV, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page wanted to put a stop to people making fun of the suspect’s deformity on social media, so they wrote,

“Even though this individual has been charged for committing a crime, he is still someone’s child/family member. It is obvious that he has suffered some type of injury. Please refrain from making jokes/negative comments. Have a blessed day.”
