Snapchat Will Soon Allow Users To Add Music To Posts
Just when it seemed like everyone was just about over Snapchat, the video/photo sharing app company took things up a notch.
Snapchat just released their new baby and gender filters that everyone just can’t get enough of and now it looks like they will be rolling in a new feature that will allow you to include music in your snaps!
Now, you won’t have to go fiddling back-and-forth into your playlist on your phone. Instead, you’ll be able to select music from the app. According to Variety, the company has been in negotiations with music companies including Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group — to license song catalogs for the Snapchat app.
Facebook and its sister apps Instagram and Oculus inked deals with the three big record companies to put music inside of user content and now it looks like Snapchat negotiations seem to be following in that line.
