A Florida Atlantic University student was arrested last week after he threatened to kill his professor for rescheduling a final exam at 7:00 a.m.
WPTV reports Rafael Decomas,20, was arrested Tuesday after he made a disturbing Twitter post in reference to threatening professor Carl Weiss. Campus police were notified after receiving a tip about Decomas’ post. The tweet said:
“Bey i gern (expletive) kill dis professor bey this is my confession to a premeditated murder”.-@Ashelaniqua
After his arrest, Decomas explained to police that he was upset about the final exam for his Data Structure being rescheduled at an earlier time since he lives far away from the campus and he confessed to posting the tweet.
He also added that the commute would require him to wake up earlier since he lives in Riviera Beach and says he had no intentions in harming anyone.
