Suburban Chicago Daycare Owner Posted $100K Bail For R. Kelly: ‘He’s Not A Monster’

In addition to pleading not guilty to all charges on Monday (Feb. 25), R. Kelly left police custody after posting 10 percent of his $1 million bail, with help from a 47-year-old woman and daycare owner, who named herself as “a friend” of the singer.

Subsequent to his current financial stresses, reports name Valencia Love of Romeoville, IL as the woman to help free him, and she claims, “I’m not going to say it was my money or [Kelly’s] and he’s not broke. He’s my friend and I knew he needed help. He was going to get out regardless. I just help out a friend if he guilty let him pay for it thru the courts.”

While Love owns a number of restaurants, like Love on the Blu, she also runs a childcare facility, the Lord and Child Christian Day Care. She adds, “I wasn’t there, you wasn’t there. Give him the chance and allow him to prove his innocence. He’s not a monster, he’s not […] He’s only been a gentleman to me.” #Socialites, thoughts?
