Suicide Bombers Kill Police Officer & Injure Many Others In Tunisia
Two suicide bombers blew themselves up in separate attacks on police in Tunisia.
As of now, police report that one one officer has been killed and many others have been injured.
Authorities have no evidence to point them towards those responsible for the attacks that have come during a high-season for tourists.
The first bomber is reported to have targeted a police patrol on Charles de Gaulle Street in central Tunisia. The interior ministry reports that one police officer was killed, one injured with three civilians wounded.
According to The Guardian, just moments after a second attack took place near a police station in al-Qarjani district. Four people were wounded after a second man blew himself up.
Heavily armed police have closed areas surrounding the attacks and are warning the public to be vigilant.
