Taylor Swift has taken the number one spot as the world’s highest paid celebrity.
Forbes has released their annual list highlighting the world’s highest paid celebrities for 2019 and the list has some pretty big heavy hitters.
Taking the number one spot is none other than Taylor Swift who managed to bring in an estimated $185 million pretax. This is a major increase for the singer as last year she brought in $80 million.
A lot of her 2019 earnings came from her stadium tour which brought in $266.1 million making it the highest-grossing tour in U.S. history.
As for the rest of the top 100, Kylie Jenner managed to rank in at number two bringing in $170 million in pretax over the past year. As for her boyfriend Travis Scott, landed at number 39 earning $58 million.
Right behind Kylie at number 3 was her brother in law Kanye West who’s 2019 estimated income was $240 million. As for his wife, Kim Kardashian West, she landed in spot number 26 earning $72 million.
Swift’s friend Ed Sheehan landed at spot number 5 earning an estimated $110 million. While her ex Calvin Harris took the 95th spot with a reported $38.5 million earning.
Other artists on the list include Beyonce who landed at number 20 with $81 million, Rihanna at number 36 with $62 million, Ariana Grande at number 62 with $48 million, and Lady Gaga at number 90 with $39.5 million.
According to the Forbes, the rankings of these “front of the camera” stars were based on their estimated pretax earnings from June 1, 2018, to June 1, 2019—before deducting fees for managers, lawyers, and agents.
