Teens Admit To ‘Columbine-style’ Attack On Their High-School
Two teenagers from Georgia have admitted to plotting a ‘Columbine-style’ attack on their high school.
WSBTV reports that they allegedly wanted to make the world record for mass murder and even prepared a ‘kill list’ that included all of the black and disabled students. Alfred Dupree, 19, and Victoria McCurley, 18, pleaded guilty to the plan in Cherokee County Superior Court in Canton, Georgia.
The teens will be sentenced on Monday for their sadistic plan to commit mass murder at Etowah High School back in 2017. According to the Cherokee County Assistant District Attorney Rachelle Carnesale, they planned on using smoke bombs to force students into certain sections of the school. They then planned on shooting as many people as possible, taking inspiration from the 1999 Columbine school shooting where Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 15 people.
During their hearing, McCurley admitted that he had previously told investigators that, “We’d like to get our numbers up higher than Las Vegas.” 58 people were killed at the Las Vegas shooting.
They were also caught using fake names on social media where they would post references to the Columbine shooting, including a photoshopped High School Musical poster that had two shooters attacking the students on the picture, titled ‘High School Massacre.’
They have been charged as adults with six counts of conspiracy to commit murder, one count of conspiracy to commit arson, and one count of unlawful possession of a destructive device.
