Tekashi 6ix9ine May Have To Testify Against Alleged Gang Members

As we previously reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been cooperating with the feds in his racketeering, drugs and guns case. Not only did he plead guilty, but it was said that he may be taking the stand later this year against alleged members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, according to reports.

Now, there’s been several Nine Trey members who have already pleaded guilty to charges for possession of guns and narcotics. However, there are five others who may go to trial. A federal prosecutor told a judge at a hearing on Tuesday that the government is still working on plea negotiations with defendants and that the cases of “less than three” of the defendants may go to trial in September, the Daily News reports.

Tekashi faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 47 years in prison, though he’s aiming for less by signing to authorities.

The troubled rapper was arrested back in November for a bunch of robberies, shootings, drug-dealing along with other crimes. Shortly before his arrest, Tekashi split from the crew. His former fellow gang members then discussed killing him, prosecutors said. Although he’s currently being protected by the feds, it was said that some people may be after if him if he ever gets out of prison, now that he’s been labeled a “rat.”
