“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is preparing for her husband Joe Giudice to come home and then possibly deported back to Italy.
However, she has hope that things could change for the better. Speaking with Andy Cohen during “Watch What Happens Live,” The 47-year-old revealed that she has been thinking about speaking to the commander-in-chief to pardon her spouse.
She said she hasn’t spoken to him or anyone about it yet, but “would love to speak to him if he wants to talk to me.” She added, “We’ll see what happens.”
This doesn’t seem like a far stretch given what Trump and Kim Kardashian recently did for great-grandmother Alice Marie Johnson who had her life sentence pardon.
Teresa also has history with Trump. She appeared on his show “Celebrity Apprentice” back in 2012. However, she did note that she doesn’t “have a relationship with Mr. Donald Trump in that way.”
It’s been about a month since a judge ruled Teresa Giudice’s husband will be deported to Italy after he finishes his prison sentence for fraud charges. Teresa said she was “shocked” when she heard the decision and admitted her daughters “were very upset.” She said their legal team is pursuing the option to appeal.
“Well, they put the paperwork in and it’s going to take time,” E-News quotes.
