“Terminator Dark Fate” Brings Everything We Loved About The Franchise Back To The Big Screen
Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger alongside the legendary, James Cameron return for what seems like the first real sequel to the 1991 ‘Terminator 2.”‘
Directed by Tim Miller and having the original franchise creator James Cameron as co-writer and co-producer makes it the best Terminator film since 1991.
The events of the newest installment take place 27 years after the events of Judgement Day where a young girl from Mexico (Natalia Reyes) finds herself at the center of a dangerous pursuit as Sarah Conner and a resistance fighter from the future (Mackenzie Davis) are sent to protect her from an almost unkillable future machine.
The new film keeps women empowerment and strength at the center, allowing them to succeed with just the perfect amount of help from Arnold’s T-800 character.
Safe to say Dark Fate reiintoruces to the Sarah Connor we loved and implements parts of today’s future into the original plot as we see an exploration of human’s having a part of Terminator in them and vice versa!
All in all, if you are a Terminator fan, you are in for a good surprise.
The film will be released on November 1. Unfortunatlye today’s premeier was cancllee due to thr California wildofres, but, Paramaount releaed an official statment,
“In light of the ongoing, active fires being battled in the area, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have canceled tonight’s Los Angeles premiere of Terminator: Dark Fate. We will be donating food intended for the after-party to the American Red Cross, which is serving those affected by the fires.”
