Texas Man Shoots & Kills Pregnant Girlfriend and Unborn Child

A Texas man has been arrested after he allegedly shot dead his eight-month-pregnant girlfriend.

Justin Herron, 31, reportedly confessed to killing Patra Perkins, ahead of her 19th birthday.

Police report that her body was found inside a Houston hotel room with numerous bullets in her on August 4. She was shot in the face, shoulder, and leg, according to HPD Homicide Division Sgt. Joshua Horn.

“She didn’t do anything to anybody. She was kind to every single person. It’s just… I don’t understand,” said Patra’s mother, Patricia Perkins.

Herron was later apprehended in New Mexico after going on the run! According to ABC13, a police source revealed that Herron told investigators he felt betrayed because Patra was allegedly texting another man that he felt threatened by. He even claims he blacked out before the deadly shooting of his girlfriend and unborn child.

As of now, he has been charged with capital murder, but, has not entered a plea.
