Thieves Rob $27K Worth Of Goods In Apple Store Heist
A gang of thieves made off with $27,000 worth of Apple Macs and iPhones in mere just seconds in a heist that was all captured caught on surveillance.
Four young men went into the store on Saturday morning at the Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno, California, and stole 26 expensive goods, as shocked customers and employees looked on.
According to ABC 30, the footage from the store shows the thieves, all wearing hoodies and sweatpants, targeting two tables in the front and the middle of the store.
Two of them work to rip the Macs from cords secured to the table while another pair yanks out the iPhones, as terrified customers, including a little girl, hide under the table for safety.
The suspects then quickly escaped.
“Various iPhones, the iPhone 6, iPhone 7 and 8, and even the new iPhone X was taken in this grand theft,” said Lt. Mark Hudson from the Fresno Police Department. “One customer stood by the door to prevent them from leaving but was knocked out of the way.”
Police say they are searching for the suspects, whom they believe are four or five black males between the ages of 16 and 18 years old.
