Toddler Who Was Kidnapped By Uber Driver Found Dead
The body of missing toddler Nalani Johnson has been recovered in western Pennsylvania after she was reported missing over the weekend!
As we reported an Amber Alert was sent out on Saturday after Johnson was abducted by an alleged Uber driver.
Police report that the little girl’s body was found in Pine Ridge Park in Burrell Township, Indiana.
County District Attorney Patrick Dougherty confirmed the death in a press conference,
“This is a cooperative effort between Allegheny County and Indiana County to try and get the best outcome and determine what happened to this child,” Dougherty said.
Sharena Islam Nancy, 25, is currently in custody on charges of kidnapping, interference with custody of children and concealment of whereabouts of a child.
According to CBS, Police state that the father of the toddler and the woman charged with kidnapping her were involved in a romantic relationship. At the time of the kidnapping, Nalani’s father, Paul Johnson, 21, got out of Nancy’s 2017 Toyota Yaris near Bryant and Clay drives in the Pittsburgh suburb of Penn Hills on Saturday afternoon. He vehicle has both Uber and Lyft badges. She allegedly then sold the child for $10,000.
As of now, it’s not clear what happened to the child.
