The popular toy store that closed it’s American stores last year is set to make a comeback for the 2019 holiday season!
Don’t worry toy fans! Toys “R” Us is planning to re-launch their American stores just in time for the 2019 holiday shopping season! Richard Barry, a former Toys “R” Us executive, told the Associated Press that he and his team are exploring several options for the United States stores. The re-launch could include free-standing stores and also shops within other stores. The details are still being locked away but Barry says e-Commerce will be a major factor.
The popular toy chain, Toys “R” Us, filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in September 2017 and eventually stopped their businesses all together in the United States and Britain. In October, a group of investors believed they could save the day by reviving the store rather than selling it for parts. On January 20th, Mr. Barry and many other former Toys “R” Us executives founded True Kids and are over the Toys “R” Us, Babies “R” Us and Geoffrey brands.
Looks like our childhood is not entirely dead yet! #Socialities, are you here for the re-launch? Tell us in the comments below!
