Two Of Juice Wrld’s Security Guards Arrested For Having Guns At Airport

As we previously reported, rapper Juice Wrld sadly died Sunday morning after having a seizure. It happened after he landed in Chicago and was walking through Chicago’s Midway International Airport. He was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead a short time later.

While it is still unclear what triggered the seizure, The New York Post is giving more details on what was going on in the moments. The news site reports that Juice was with a group of about 10 to 12 people at the time and that two of his security guards were arrested for having guns on them.

Now, Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told The Post that they did have a conceal and carry permit valid in the state of Illinois, but it didn’t allow them to bring the weapons into an airport. They were arrested and charged with misdemeanor gun violations, Guglielmi said. No other contraband was found on any other member of the group, Guglielmi said.

It was also said that the members of the group were “very cooperative,” including the pair of security guards that got arrested, he added.

Meanwhile, an autopsy by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office is set to take place Monday. Police did note that there were no signs of foul play.
