UPDATE: Judge Rules To Keep A$AP Rocky In Jail For ANOTHER Week!

On Thursday, we got good news that Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West had stepped up to help A$AP Rocky in his latest case. They got in contact with Jared Kushner who filled his father in-law Donald Trump on what’s been going on with the rapper in Sweden. The president reportedly agreed that he is being unfairly treated and also wants to step in and help.

However, it looks like Swedish prosecutors have a plan of their own. According to the latest updates this morning, prosecutors had asked to hold A$AP Rocky in jail for ANOTHER week because police still haven’t finished investigating the street brawl that he was involved in.

It was said that Prosecutor Daniel Suneson was the one who asked Stockholm’s District Court on Friday to hold A$AP Rocky – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – until July 25 while they investigate him for aggravated assault. TMZ reports that a judge just ruled to keep him behind bars, saying,

“The Court decided that the artist will remain in custody until 25 July, because of the flight risk. This gives us time to complete the investigation.”

This means the prosecutor will now have another week to decide whether or not to indict Rocky. TMZ notes that the judge has not yet ruled on the fate of A$AP’s friends who were arrested with him.

As we previously reported, Rocky was arrested earlier this month after a video showed him and members from his crew throwing a man to the ground in the city, but the rapper has claimed he was acting in self defense. Those who saw the videos that he personally shared to his Instagram account would agree after he can be heard pleading with the two Swedish men to stop following him.
