We recently shared an ABC News clip showing a man being confronted by a cop during a traffic stop. Apparently, the officer stopped him for his tinted windows then claimed that he smelled marijuana in the drivers vehicle and wanted him to get out. Minutes into the clip, the man who appears to be scared for his life then tries to flee but drags the officer in the process.
Eventually, Rocky Rudolph, 38, was taken he into custody shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday while Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Blais was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later released from the hospital, according to a statement by the department.
However, according to updated reports, Rudolph is now looking at charges of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting an officer with violence, according to the county jail roster. He is currently being held without bond
Fox 8 also reports that Rudolph is scheduled for a court appearance at 2 p.m. on Monday.
