UPDATE: Suspect Arrested For Killing Man Over Popeyes Chicken Sandwich

The man who’s accused of fatally stabbing another man in a fight at a Popeyes restaurant has finally been arrested. Late Wednesday, the Prince George’s County Police Department confirmed in a tweet that Ricoh McClain had been located and arrested.

McClain, 30, now faces murder and assault charges in the stabbing death of 28-year-old Kevin Tyrell Davis at a Popeyes in Oxon Hill, outside Washington D.C. on Nov. 4. As we previously reported, McClain allegedly got in a verbal argument with Davis after the younger man cut the line while other customers, including McClain, was waiting to order food. They took the argument outside where things turned physical, with Davis ultimately being stabbed to death.

Police last week released a photo of McClain and a woman who was with him when he fled the scene. The woman was interviewed and is considered a witness. She doesn’t face charges, police said.

McClain is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
