Video Shows Man Being Punched In Face By Police
Footage has emerged from Sunday night that shows a police officer brutally punching a man in the face.
Pix 11 reports that a 19-year-old man can be seen in the video as he is punched in the face several times by a Dover police officer during an arrest in New Jersey.
The young man has been identified as Cyprian Luke. The video shows him with a bloody face as a Dover Police officer hits him while he’s being restrained on the ground by other cops.
“He’s not able to comply with what they’re asking him because they’re not allowing him to,” Luke’s mother said.
The man was apparently being arrested for a bench warrant for “charges of assault, violating court orders and criminal mischief.”
It is not clear what happened prior to the video, and Dover police have not revealed any further information. They say the investigation has been given to the prosecutors office and the officers have been placed on administrative leave with pay.
This is how Dover, NJ Police took into custody 19 yr old Cyprian Luke who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic abuse case.
