Vogue has teamed up with Jordan to create a look that will have sneaker fans and even non-sneaker fans dying to get their hands on!
Vogue fashion magazine has announced that they will be collaborating on their own pair of women’s Air Jordan 1’s. This is major as they are the first fashion magazine to collaborate on a speaker of this caliber.
The design is one that was Anna Wintour-approved!
Taking the body of the women’s Air Jordan 1 High Zip model, the Vogue x Air Jordan 1 gives the shell a new remix. The high top still remains, but it accompanied by tonal sail and red-colored leather uppers.
A red “Edited by Vogue” key tag also is seen hanging from the sipper that is replacing the lacing system. Once the sneaker is unzipped, each pair shows a leather panel embroidered with “AWOK,” the Vogue editor-in-chief’s signature sign-off.
Now you couldn’t think that the world’s leading player in fashion publications wouldn’t add something different to this design. Each box comes with special packaging and sealed in suede dust bags.
With four different colorways and patterns, this sneaker is set to hit retailers very soon.
The Vogue x Air Jordan 1 High Zip “AWOK” will debut on Saturday, July 21 exclusively at retailers Hirshleifers, Kith, Nordstrom x Nike, and Jordan’s 306 Yonge Toronto and 32 South State Chicago. That will be followed up with a release on Monday, July 23.
If you want to get your hands on these sneakers, the price is just $220. Take a look at the design below and let us know what you think!
