Wade Robson Changes Donation Page After Backlash From Michael Jackson Documentary
Wade Robson has changed the name of a fund page he owns following backlash he received after HBO aired “Leaving Neverland.”
The Blast reports that the fund which was set up through Hawaii Community Foundation, was initially called the “Robson Family Fund,” and “created a powerful way to contribute towards the healing from and prevention of child abuse.”
Donations started at $250, however, it did not indicate as to where exactly the funds would be sent to. Robson and his wife, Amanda, received backlash online after being called money hungry for appearing in “Leaving Neverland.”
As of Tuesday morning, the “Robson Family Fund” page was removed and replaced with the “Robson Child Abuse Healing and Prevention Fund.” There also appears to be a donation of $10,000 from Robson himself.
The page focuses on links for therapy and combatting child sexual abuse, it also links back to Wade’s website.
Robson has been getting a lot of backlash for his role in the documentary, due to the discrepancies in his story and the fact he testified on Jackson’s behalf in 2005. Many believe he is money hungry and is only doing this because he was not chosen to be a part of a tribute show.
