Walmart Apologizes For Christmas Sweater That Shows Santa Doing Cocaine

Another big retail giant is apologizing for selling offensive clothes. This time Walmart is taking some heat over a Christmas sweater that shows Santa appearing to do cocaine!

The sweater that appeared on Walmart’s Canadian website, shows an odd looking Santa with the words “Let it Snow,” while coke lines are laid out on a tray. Many people on social media expressed that the move was distasteful, offensive and completely inappropriate.

Walmart has now released a statement apologizing for having the sweater up and says it “does not represent Walmart’s values.”

“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website,” said a Walmart spokesperson to Global News Canada. “We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused.”

In addition to that, several other risqué sweaters were also taken down after the social media backlash.
